Introduction

Welcome to 100 Coffees! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 100 Coffees platform and services ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Service.

3. Service Overview

100 Coffees allows users to make reservations to meet new people in groups at public venues such as coffee shops or restaurants.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Users may cancel their reservation at any time before they are matched. Once matched, cancellations will be considered as a no-show. We do not offer refunds at this time; however, in extreme cases, we may make exceptions at our sole discretion. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, please email us at team@100coffees.app.

5. No-Show Policy

To ensure a reliable experience for all users, we track attendance at scheduled meetups.

  • If a user accumulates three (3) no-shows, their account will be suspended for one (1) month.

  • A no-show is defined as failing to attend a scheduled meetup without canceling before matching.

  • Suspensions are automatically applied each time a user reaches three no-shows, regardless of how much time has passed between incidents.

  • If a user continues to accumulate no-shows after their suspension is lifted, they will be suspended again for another month upon reaching three additional no-shows.

  • There is no limit to how many times a user can be suspended due to excessive no-shows.

This policy is in place to keep the experience fair and enjoyable for all participants. If you believe your no-show was due to an extreme or unavoidable situation, you may contact us at team@100coffees.app to request a review. However, exceptions are made solely at our discretion.

6. Subscription Policy

100 Coffees offers subscription plans. Users may cancel their subscription at any time before their next billing cycle to avoid auto-renewal. At this time, we do not support refunds on subscriptions. Refunds may be introduced in the future at our discretion.

7. Termination of Services

Subscription Termination

  • By You: You may cancel your subscription via the Platform at any time before your next billing cycle to avoid renewal.

  • By Us: We may terminate your subscription by sending you an email notification.

  • Refunds: Ongoing subscription periods are non-refundable.

  • After Termination: Users will no longer have access to premium features but may still use the platform under standard terms.

8. User Conduct

Users are expected to behave respectfully and follow general common-sense guidelines during meetups and when using the app. Users must:

  • Treat others with respect and courtesy.

  • Adhere to all local laws and regulations.

  • Avoid disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior at meetups.

  • Use the platform responsibly and not for malicious purposes.

Users found violating these guidelines may face temporary suspensions, permanent bans, or legal action depending on the severity of the offense.

9. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy can be found at 100coffees.app/privacy. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications to Terms

Subscription Services

  • We may amend these terms with at least 30 days’ notice before their effective date.

  • If you disagree with the changes, you must cancel your subscription before renewal.

By continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect, you accept the modified terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

100 Coffees cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or precision of information provided on the Platform. Consequently, we disclaim all liability for errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the information available.

Non-contractual Information

  • Texts and images related to Services are non-binding.

  • 100 Coffees cannot be held responsible for errors in descriptions or visuals.

Meetup-Related Liabilities

  • 100 Coffees is not responsible for meals, food, or beverages provided by coffee shops. Our liability is strictly limited to the scope of the Services.

Scope of Liability

  • In all cases, 100 Coffees’ liability is limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event that caused the liability.

12. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including software, databases, and content (texts, images, logos, etc.), is owned by 100 Coffees and protected under intellectual property laws.

Limited License

  • You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the Platform for private purposes during the subscription period.

  • Any reproduction, representation, or use of the Platform’s content for commercial purposes without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

13. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations.

  • Solicit personal or financial information from other users.

  • Use another user’s account.

  • Share private or proprietary information without proper authorization.

  • Develop or use third-party applications interacting with our Services without written consent.

  • Create a new account after being suspended or terminated, unless explicitly authorized.

You must also refrain from:

  • Using the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or competitive purposes.

  • Attempting to reverse engineer, copy, or extract data from the platform.

  • Engaging in activities that harm 100 Coffees’ reputation, security, or business interests.

  • Registering or using the platform to gather data for a competing service.

  • Posting or distributing harmful content such as malware, spyware, or misleading information.

14. Legal Enforcement and Protection

We reserve the right to pursue civil and criminal legal action against any individual or entity that attempts to exploit, harm, or infringe upon 100 Coffees’ intellectual property, business model, or operational integrity. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized access, data scraping, or actions intended to replicate or undermine our platform.

Any individual or entity that registers for our Services under false pretenses, including but not limited to competitors seeking to extract proprietary information, consents to a minimum liquidated damages fee of $100,000 USD, plus all legal costs associated with enforcement.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
